In this post, I will provide short commentary on 9 trends in the college admission landscape. In light of each, I will tell you what I think students can do to be prepared for the college application.

Test-optional policies are driving up the number of applications at selective schools

Tightened selectivity at these schools is driving up ED applications, too

Selective schools can’t rely on uniform standardized testing data

Instead, they look to other factors to determine academic quality of students
